Margaret Richardson Scholarship

You will receive a one-off payment of about 3,300 EUR (£2,800) for one year of research in German Studies at University College London (UCL). This funding is aimed at students pursuing an MPhil or PhD – that is, research-based programmes in which you write your own dissertation rather than attending lectures. The funding is provided by the Department of German Studies at UCL.

Who can apply

• Degree level: You are studying for an MPhil or PhD (a research degree).
• Field of study: You are studying German (German Studies).
• University: You are studying at University College London (UCL) in the United Kingdom.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via the academic adviser at the Department of German Studies at UCL. The application deadline is 25 May. If this date falls on a weekend or a public holiday, the deadline is extended to the next working day.
