About this scholarship
What the Alumni Discount Scheme gives you
At the University of Bradford, you will receive a 10% discount on your tuition fees if you have already studied there. This reduces the fees for your next degree programme, rather than providing you with cash. There is no limit on the number of students who can receive this funding. It applies to full-time and part-time programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship from the University of Bradford, you will only retain the one with the highest value.
Who can apply
- Your link to Bradford: You have already studied at the University of Bradford, regardless of the year in which you graduated. This also applies if you studied there as part of an exchange programme such as Erasmus, or if you obtained a bachelor’s degree at one of the University of Bradford’s partner universities.
- Who pays your fees: You are funding your studies yourself. You are not eligible to take part if a sponsor is covering your fees.
- Your next course: You are commencing a degree programme at a higher level (e.g. progressing from a Bachelor’s to a Master’s or a PhD, or from a Master’s to a PhD), a second Bachelor’s degree or a full postgraduate programme, or a distance-learning programme with higher tuition fees.
- Field of study: All participants are eligible to take part.
- Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
How to apply
You do not need to submit an application. The 10% discount will be credited to your account automatically as soon as you meet the conditions.
How realistic are your chances?
There is no limit on the number of places and the discount is applied automatically, so there is no competition. If you are a self-funded Bradford graduate and are starting an eligible new degree programme, you will receive the discount without any selection process. The only question is whether your circumstances meet the eligibility criteria set out above.
