About this scholarship

Benefit

This programme was a scholarship designed to cover part of the tuition fees for new international students commencing their studies at Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. It covered part of your tuition fees. You could only receive one such scholarship and could not combine it with other funding from Cardiff University.

Eligibility

  • Study level: You were a new Bachelor’s or Master’s student. Students who transferred from a Bachelor’s to a Master’s programme were also included in the count.
  • Where you study: You had a firm offer to study at Cardiff University in the UK.
  • Nationality: Applicants of any nationality were eligible to apply, provided they were international (non-UK) students.
  • One award only: You may only be awarded this one scholarship and cannot combine it with other funding from Cardiff University.

How to apply

Cardiff University no longer lists the ‘International Scholarship Fund’. It appears to have been replaced by current international scholarships, such as the ‘Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship’ (approx. 11,700 / £10,000 euros), the “Vice-Chancellor’s Undergraduate International Scholarship” (approximately 4,100 to 5,900 euros / £3,500 to £5,000 euros) and various scholarship programmes for postgraduate students. As these are separate programmes, please check the current scholarship pages on Cardiff University’s website for details of application procedures and deadlines.
