University of Westminster - Home Postgraduate Part Fee Scholarship

Benefit

You get a one-off 2,000 GBP (about 2,350 EUR) towards your tuition fees for a Master's degree at the University of Westminster in London. The money is not paid to you. The university takes it off your fee bill in November of your first semester. If your Master's runs over two years or you study part time, you get the award for your first year only. It covers part of your tuition, not the full cost. The number of awards changes each year.

Eligibility

• Degree: You hold an offer for a full-time or part-time Master's course at the University of Westminster starting in September 2026.
• Fee status: You count as a Home fee student, meaning you are treated as a UK local under the British fee rules.
• Grades: You have at least a 2:1 Honours degree, the second-highest class of a British Bachelor's.
• No Master's yet: You do not already hold a postgraduate or Master's degree.
• Field of study: Most subjects qualify. Postgraduate Diplomas, professional courses (such as RIBA Pt III, ACCA, CIMA, CiLEX), conversion courses (such as the Graduate Diploma in Law) and integrated Masters/MPhil/PhD programmes do not.

How to apply

You apply online through the university's application portal. The deadline is Monday 10 August 2026 at 5pm, and you hear the outcome by 21 August 2026. A panel decides based on your academic results and your personal statement, and their decision is final.

How realistic are your chances?

The award is tied to Westminster and needs a 2:1 or better, so only admitted students who fit the fee status and grade bar compete for it. The number of scholarships changes each year, and selection also weighs your personal statement. A clear, well-argued statement is what sets you apart. Apply before the deadline, as late applications are not considered.
