About this scholarship
Medway Community Scholarships
You will receive about 1,150 EUR (£1,000) to carry out your own voluntary project that benefits the local community or fellow students at the University of Kent’s Medway Campus. The grant runs for one year. You will also receive advice, training and guidance on planning and implementing the project, as well as support in developing skills for your future career. The funding and support are provided by the University of Kent. Previous projects demonstrate the wide range of possibilities: a record label organising live concerts, a creative community day for local families, an international film festival, music production courses for young people and sports lessons for primary school children.
