NLS Alumni Loyalty Scheme

You get a tuition fee reduction of up to £1,000 (about 1,150 EUR) on a postgraduate law course at Nottingham Law School, part of Nottingham Trent University (NTU). This is not a monthly payment. The discount comes straight off your course fee as a thank-you for staying with NTU after your first degree. It applies to courses starting in September 2026.

Who can apply

• Your NTU link: You are in the final year of an NTU undergraduate degree, or you have graduated from a full-time NTU bachelor's degree, or you have finished the Nottingham Law School PGDL (a one-year law conversion diploma for non-law graduates).
• What you study next: You enrol on an eligible Nottingham Law School professional law course, such as the Barristers Training Course (BTC), the Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) conversion course, or an SQE 1 or SQE 2 preparation course.
• Study mode: Full-time, part-time and distance learning all count, depending on the course.
• Start date: Your course must begin in September 2026.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.

How to apply

There is nothing to apply for. Once you accept your offer for an eligible course, the discount is deducted from your fee automatically before you enrol.

How realistic are your chances?

This is not a competitive award. It is a fixed discount for anyone who fits the criteria, so there is no selection and no limited number of places. If you are an NTU undergraduate or graduate, or a Nottingham Law School PGDL graduate, moving on to one of the listed courses, you receive it as a matter of course.
