About this scholarship

Oxford Forté Foundation Fellowship for Women

You will receive the about 43,500 EUR (£37,500) towards your course fees for the Oxford Executive MBA, a part-time management programme at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Up to four of these scholarships are awarded per intake. You will also become part of the Forté network, which comprises more than 100,000 women in business. This will give you access to webinars and workshops on leadership, invitations to job vacancies and executive programmes at partner organisations, a listing in the annual CV directory for companies, and lifetime premium access. The scholarship is awarded by the Business School in partnership with the Forté Foundation, a charitable organisation that supports women in taking on leadership roles in the business world.

Who can apply

  • Gender: You are a woman.
  • Programme: You are applying for the Oxford Executive MBA.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
  • Academic record: You can demonstrate your outstanding achievements through your CV, your certificates and your scholarship application letter.
  • Leadership: You can demonstrate leadership qualities or clearly recognisable leadership potential based on your professional career to date.
  • Role model: You want to be a role model for other women and represent the school both during the programme and afterwards.

How to apply

Submit a complete application for the Executive MBA. In the ‘Funding’ section of the form, include a personal statement of no more than 400 words explaining how you meet the criteria. There is no fixed deadline. All applicants who have received an offer of admission will be considered at every stage of the admissions process, but applying early increases your chances of receiving funding.

How realistic are your chances?

The pool of applicants is deliberately kept small: you must be a woman who has been admitted to the Oxford Executive MBA, and no more than four scholarships are awarded per intake. This focus means that the pool of applicants remains smaller than for an open scholarship. However, as the MBA programme at Oxford already attracts successful female applicants, a strong track record in leadership is crucial. Apply at an early stage of the admissions process, as the scholarships may already have been awarded by later rounds.
