General Description

Friends, former students, and admirers of James M. O'Donovan subscribed a fund for an annual prize at University College Cork. He was the Professor of Medicine from 1932 until 1957. The James M. O'Donovan Medical Prize is valued at €1,750. A candidate must have obtained the highest marks in Medicine on the Final Medical Examiniation.

Requirements

The successful candidate has studied at University College Cork from the three years preceding the examiniantion. The student cannot have passed the Third University Examination in Medicine more than three years preceding the examination. The student took the entire Final Medical Examination for the first time. The student obtained the highest marks in Medicine on the Final Medical Examination.
