General Description

Professor Peter Dempsey retired from University College Cork after thirty-one years. His former students and colleagues decided to stablish an award in his name. The Peter Dempsey Award in Applied Psychology is intended to enable a student to pursue postgraduate studies in Applied Psychology. This annual award is worth €1,000. The award is decided on the recommendation of the full-time teaching staff of Applied Psychology along with various other department Heads.

Requirements

Only students that pursuing the final year of the honors program for the BA or BSc Degree Examinations or the Higher Diploma in Psychology. Students must also have passed all previous examinations in minimum time.
