General Description

The Institution of Electrical Engineers award a prize at University College Cork. The IEE prize is awarded annually. It is intended to help recipients in overseas travel or book purchases. The prize winners are nominated on the basis of having shown distinction in a specified stage of a program leading to the award for a first degree on an IEE accredited or mutually accredited program. It is awarded to the best student in the final year of the BE Electrical degree program. The prize consists of a certificate, a monetary prize, and two years free membership of the Institution. The monetary prize equals €127.

Requirements

The student must be a University College Cork student. The student must meet all requirements of University College Cork. The candidate must show distinction in a specified stage of a program leading to the award of a first degree on an IEE accredited or mutually accredited program.
