General Description

The purpose of the Police Injury Foundation is to provide grants to a police officer or family member, injured or killed in duty by a criminal act. The amount given varies, but the average amount is about SEK 3000.

Requirements

If you get injured while on duty you are eligible to apply, if the act are directed at you as a police officer. For example, you may be bitten and the person may carry a blood infection. During an arrest, the suspects gives you a kick.
