General Description
The General Manager Fernand Suykens Prize for Port Studies is awarded by the Royal Academy for Overseas Sciences of Belgium to the author of a memoir on a subject related to port economy, management or techniques. The work should be of high scientific value and must have a focus on developing countries. The Prize is awarded once every 3 years. The prize money is €2,500.
Requirements
Candidates must have authored a memoir on a subject related to port economy, management or techniques, with a focus on developing countries. The work must either be unpublished or published within the preceding 3 years. The memoir should be written in English, French or Dutch. Members of the Royal Academy for Overseas Sciences cannot be awarded the Prize.
