About this award / prize
Robert Beaujean Prize
You will receive a one-off cash prize of 2,500 EUR, which is awarded once a year for completed work in the field of history or archaeology in the Walloon Region of Belgium. The prize is funded by the Robert Beaujean Fund, which was established in memory of a passionate history and archaeology enthusiast and is administered by the King Baudouin Foundation. It recognises a completed piece of work of high academic quality, but not an ongoing research project.

How to apply
Complete the application form on the King Baudouin Foundation’s website and submit it online. The call for applications opens at the end of February and closes on 24 September. The committee may consult independent experts; its decision is final. Each applicant will be informed of the result in writing.
