Research Mobility Grant (outside Belgium) from ULiege

You will receive up to 1,500 EUR per month for a research stay abroad or in Flanders, as well as the cost of your return journey. The amount you receive depends on the duration and nature of your stay.

For a full-time research placement, you will receive a total of up to 750 EUR for 2 weeks to 1 months, up to 1,500 EUR per month for 1 to 6 months, and up to 1,500 EUR per month (capped at 15,000 EUR) for 6 months to 1 years. For field research or information-gathering stays, the rates are half these amounts: up to 375 EUR, then up to 750 EUR per month, then up to 750 EUR per month (capped at 7,500 EUR). For short and medium-term stays, one return journey is included; for stays of more than 6 months, two journeys are included. The funding comes from the ULiege Heritage Fund and supports you in collaborating with researchers abroad and establishing international contacts.
