Aage og Yelva Nimbs Fond - Aage and Yelva Nimb's Foundation

Aage and Yelva Nimb's Foundation grant

You will receive a one-off grant of around 13,400 EUR (grants are stated in 100,000 DKK). The money is intended to fund a specific project and is not intended to cover your general living expenses whilst you are studying. The Foundation awards two types of grants: Honorary grants for Danish visual artists, and travel grants for young people in business and commerce, for example to fund a research or study visit abroad. The funding body is the Aage and Yelva Nimb Foundation, a Danish charitable organisation based in Copenhagen.

Who can apply

• Who it is for: You are a visual artist working in Denmark, or a young person in business and commerce, such as a student or early-career researcher in economics, business or trade.
• What the money is for: You have a specific project in mind, such as a study or research placement abroad, travel plans or an artistic project.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply. The Foundation does not impose any restrictions.

How to apply

There is no public application portal. You can apply at any time via the Copenhagen law firm that administers the foundation. In the case of grants for business travel, your university may nominate you instead. The foundation’s board selects recipients on the basis of the quality and merit of the project.
