Merchant Sven Hansen and Wife Ina Hansen's Foundation grant

You will receive a one-off grant of approximately 1,340 euros (10,000 DKK) to support your studies or research in Denmark. The money comes from a Danish charitable foundation which was established in 1971 by the merchant Sven Hansen and his wife, Ina Hansen. Every year, it distributes the returns on its invested capital.

Who can apply

You’re the right person for the job if any of the following statements apply to you:

• Future business leaders: You have finished a Danish business degree at HA level (a bachelor's in business administration) and want to study further for a leadership role in trade or industry.
• Young farmers: You are undertaking a vocational training course at an agricultural college in Denmark, for example to become a farm manager.
• Researchers: You run a medical research project aimed at treating patients, mainly in cancer, or an agricultural science project such as biological pest control.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Where you study: Any organisation, provided that the study or research takes place in Denmark.

How to apply

Please apply by email or post, ensuring that your application reaches us by 15 April. Please include a brief explanation of why you need the grant, as well as, where applicable, a budget breakdown and details of any other funding bodies to which you have applied for the same purpose. The board will make its decision in the autumn and will only notify successful applicants.
