Hans Ebsen Damm's Commemoration Scholarship

You will receive a one-off grant to help fund your agricultural training. The exact amount is not disclosed. The grant is awarded by the ‘Fælleslandboforeningen for Nordslesvig’, an agricultural association for North Schleswig. Recipients are selected each year, and the grant is paid out in May.

Who can apply

• Where you are from: You have a personal connection to the municipality of Branderup in South Jutland, Denmark; for example, you were born there, grew up there or live there.
• Background: You are a South Jutlander with a Danish outlook; in other words, you come from South Jutland and identify with the Danish language and culture.
• Field of study: You are undertaking an apprenticeship in agriculture, horticulture or forestry.
• Who applies: You are applying as an individual, not as a group or organisation.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply. What matters is your connection to the Branderup community.
• Grades: Your school grades only come into play if two candidates are otherwise equally qualified and a decision has to be made.

How to apply

You send a written application to Hans Ebsen Damm's Mindelegat. There is no form to fill in. The deadline is 1 February. Application dates are also announced in local newspapers and in Landsavisen.
