Jørgen Esmer's Memorial Scholarship

You will receive a one-off grant of up to 10,000 DKK (about 1,340 EUR), valid for one year. The money comes from Jørgen Esmer’s Mindelegat, a Danish foundation established in 1968 to support people working in the fields of commerce, the skilled trades or industry. As a young person in training, you can use the grant to study in Denmark. Stays or trips abroad are not covered.

Who can apply

• Who you are: You are a young person training for a career, ideally in trade, crafts or industry.
• Field of study: A background in trade, crafts or industry is preferred, but not required.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
• Address: You have an address in Denmark. Applications with a foreign address will be rejected without further notice.
• Need and merit: You can demonstrate both that you deserve the grant and that you need it. Support this with certificates from independent bodies such as government departments, schools or doctors.
