About this scholarship

Relief Fund for Pharmaceutical Sciences students (University of Copenhagen)

You get a one-off grant of up to DKK 20,000 (about EUR 2,700) per application. You can apply for one of two reasons: an urgent grant if you are in a serious financial crisis, or a study-stay grant to help cover a research trip while you write your thesis. A study stay must last at least one month, and the fund supports a maximum of six months. The money comes from the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen, which runs this fund for its pharmacy students.

Who can apply

  • Your school: You study or have graduated from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PharmaSchool) at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
  • Study level: You are a bachelor's or master's student, or a recent graduate. PhD students cannot apply.
  • Your reason: You face a serious, acute money problem, or you need funding for a research trip linked to your thesis.
  • Priority: Research trips tied to writing a thesis get the highest priority.

How to apply

You apply online through the fund's application portal, or by email to legater@sund.ku.dk. There is one application round each year, in autumn. For 2026 it runs from 5 to 30 October. Urgent grants go into this same round.
