Parish of Karise - Farm owner Hans Jensen and miss Anna Jensen's Commemoration Scholarship

What the scholarship offers

You will receive a grant to fund your education. The amount of the grant is not made public and is determined anew in each round of awards. The fund supports young people from Karise who are commencing a course of study at a folk high school (højskole, a Danish residential school for adults), an agricultural college, a teacher training college, a university or another higher education institution. It also provides social assistance to people in need within the community, such as widows. The funding is paid out by a charitable fund linked to the Karise community in the Danish municipality of Faxe. The fund was established in 1901 and is administered by the Karise community.
