Benefit

You receive a one-off payment of at least 1,000 DKK (about 135 EUR) from Nordfyns Kommune, the municipality on the island of Funen in Denmark. The money is paid out in the middle of December.

Who can apply

• Where you live: You live in Nordfyns Kommune.
• Financial need: You need financial help, for example because you are on a low income. This is the main group the grant is for, at any age.
• Young people in education: A smaller share of the money goes to young people who are studying.
• Who applies: You apply as a private individual, not as an organisation.

How to apply

You apply online through the Nordfyns Kommune website. The application window runs from the Monday of week 41 to 16:00 on the Friday of week 44 (roughly October to early November). You need MitID, the Danish digital ID, and your latest tax assessment. You can also pick up a paper form at the Citizen Service desk in the Bogense, Otterup or Søndersø libraries. Only successful applicants are notified, and late applications are not considered.
