What you get

You will receive a one-off grant of 10,000 DKK (about 1,340 EUR) to cover the costs of your current university studies. The grant comes from a Danish foundation established in 1901 in accordance with the will of the merchant Jacob Ørsted Andresen. It supports students with links to the Nakskov or Slagelse regions, taking financial need into account.

Who can apply

• Study level: You are currently enrolled on a higher education programme: a course at a business academy, a vocational Bachelor’s degree programme, a university Bachelor’s degree programme, a Master’s degree programme (candidate) or a PhD programme.
• Where you study: You are studying in Denmark or abroad.
• Field of study: Any subject.
• Local link: You were born in, or live in, the Nakskov or Slagelse area, or at least one of your parents was born there or lives there.
• Financial need: Your financial situation affects who is eligible for funding. So if you can demonstrate that you need the money, this will strengthen your application.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.

How to apply

Please complete the application form and email it to the law firm Advodan in Slagelse. The deadline for applications is 15 February. You will not receive confirmation that your application has been received.
