Ida Maria Henrichsen's Memorial Scholarship

You get a one-off travel grant to help cover the cost of a study trip linked to a new course of study. The school pays out about 100,000 DKK (roughly 13,400 EUR) in total each year, split among the people it picks. Tønder Gymnasium, a Danish upper-secondary school, runs the scholarship. Gerda Henrichsen set it up in memory of her sister Ida Maria Henrichsen.

Who can apply

• School: You are a final-year pupil or former pupil of Tønder Gymnasium (previously Tønder Statsskole).
• Purpose: You want to make a study trip linked to a new course of study.
• Field of study: Any subject can apply.
• Financial need: The greater your financial need, the better your chances. Applicants are ranked by need.

How to apply

Send your application by post to Tønder Gymnasium. Address it to the Rektor and write "Ida Maria Henrichsen Legat" on the envelope. The deadline is 15 January. Results are announced at the school's graduation ceremony.
