About this scholarship
Benefit
You will receive a financial grant to support your studies at University of Copenhagen. The amount is not disclosed and is determined on a case-by-case basis. This scholarship forms part of the university’s joint fund (Fælleslegat), a fund that pools many smaller bequests and generally awards a number of smaller grants rather than a few large ones. The funding may last for up to 3 years.
Eligibility
- University: You are enrolled at the University of Copenhagen.
- Level: Any student can apply. Having completed a Master’s or PhD programme will improve your chances, but it is merely an advantage and not a requirement.
- Field of study: All subjects.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
- Grades: You can demonstrate that you are capable of achieving above-average results in your studies.
How to apply
You cannot apply for this scholarship separately. Instead, you apply for the entire joint fund (Fælleslegat) by ticking the relevant box on the application form. The form will be published on the university’s intranet, KUnet (login required), as soon as the application period begins. You must submit it online; paper forms will not be accepted. The application deadline is in the autumn, usually around 1 November.
