About this scholarship
What you get
If you work in the hotel and catering industry or are undertaking training in this sector, you are eligible for financial support for further training abroad. The grant is paid out once a year. The amount depends on your needs, so there is neither a fixed sum nor a set duration. The funds come from a Danish foundation established in 1951 by the hotelier Adolf Andersen, who worked in the hotel industry in Denmark and abroad.
Who can apply
- Field: You work in or train for the hotel and restaurant industry.
- Where you go: You are using the scholarship to study or undertake vocational training outside Denmark.
- Age: You’re young and work in the industry.
- Financial need: People are judged on the basis of how much support they actually need.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
How to apply
Please apply online via the foundation’s application link. Applications submitted by any other means will be rejected. The application deadline is 1 April each year. You will receive a response in June, when the grants are awarded.
