About this scholarship

Benefit

You will receive a grant towards a technical university degree. The amount is not disclosed. The rules are clear: you can receive a total of up to 3 full scholarship grants, which are usually paid out over the final 3 years of your studies. The fund is managed by the “BRØNDERSLEV TEKNISKE SELSKABS LEGAT” foundation and administered by the municipality of Brønderslev in northern Denmark. It supports people from the Brønderslev region in their training as engineers and technicians.

Eligibility

  • Where you come from: You live in the former municipality of Brønderslev or are originally from that municipality as it existed before the local government reform 2007. You must be able to provide proof of a previous address there.
  • Level: You are studying at a Danish business academy (erhvervsakademi) or are undertaking a vocational Bachelor’s degree programme, a university Bachelor’s degree programme or a Master’s degree programme.

  • Earlier training: If your educational background includes an apprenticeship or a foundation degree, you must complete this before applying. This does not apply to students studying for a Diploma in Engineering, an Academy Engineering degree or a degree in Civil Engineering (academic), who are not required to complete an apprenticeship.
