About this scholarship

What the fund gives you

You are eligible for financial support for your research or for a research trip abroad if you are studying medicine at the University of Copenhagen or working in this field. For 2026, the total fund amounts to DKK 450,000 (about EUR 60,000), which the fund describes as very limited. The funds are allocated to various purposes: the majority goes towards medical research projects; a larger grant is awarded to an individual for a research project or a research stay abroad; and smaller amounts are used to fund travel grants and social activities for students. There is no fixed amount per person. How much you receive depends on the purpose of your research and how the committee allocates the funds. The fund is administered by the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen.
