You will receive a one-off grant of approximately 670 EUR (around 5,000 DKK) for a study trip abroad lasting at least one month, which will support your agricultural training. The grant covers travel expenses, for which you must provide proof before the funds are paid out. The programme is administered by Landbrugsskolen Sjælland (Zealand Agricultural College), which is now part of Roskilde Tekniske Skole.

Who can apply

  • Field: You study agriculture and plan a trip abroad of at least one month to further that training.
  • Where you live: You live on Zealand (Sjælland). If you live elsewhere, you cannot apply.
  • Age: You are at least 18 years old.
  • Schooling: You have completed agricultural training lasting at least 3 months.
  • Practical experience: You have at least 1 years’ practical experience in agriculture.
  • Timing: You must submit your application before you set off on your journey. Applications submitted after you have set off will not be considered.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
  • Priority: Applicants from the eastern islands (de østlige øer) will be given priority, but others are also welcome to apply.

How to apply

Download the application form from the school’s website and send it by post to Landbrugsskolen Sjælland in Høng. Please enclose your examination certificate and proof of your planned journey. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and reviewed approximately three times a year.
