Grevegården's Scholarship

Benefit

You will receive financial support for your studies in Denmark. The funding comes from ‘Grevegårdens Legat’, a Danish foundation based in Aarup on Funen. It supports the families and former workers of the Grevegården estate in Skalbjerg and funds their children’s education. The foundation does not disclose either the amount of the grant or its duration.

Eligibility

This scholarship is aimed at a narrowly defined group of people with links to the Grevegården estate. Applicants will be considered in the following order:

• Family and former workers first: You are a descendant of the founder who is in financial difficulty, or a former worker at the Grevegården estate.
• Their children next: You are a child of the founder’s relatives or of former employees of the estate and require financial support for your education.
• Local young people last: If no one from the above-mentioned groups is eligible, young people from the Skalbjerg school district may receive support with their education.
• Field of study: All subjects are open.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, but must be studying in Denmark.

How to apply

Apply by 15 February. The foundation does not publish an application form or procedure.
