Specialdetailhandelens Uddannelsesfond - Specialized Retailing Business' Educational Foundation

What you get

You will receive a grant for training or research in specialist retail, i.e. in shops that specialise in a particular type of product. The amount of individual grants is not published. The ‘Specialdetailhandelens Uddannelsesfond’ foundation awards a total of approximately 100,000 DKK per year (around 13,400 EUR) across all funding schemes. The funds may also benefit the ‘Handelsfagskolen’ (which is now part of Aarhus Business College) or contribute to the establishment of further schools in the specialist retail sector.

Who can apply

• What you do: You are working on an educational or research project in the specialist retail sector.
• Field: Your project must be related to the specialist retail sector.
• Where you study: Every institution in Denmark counts. There is no requirement to be affiliated with a specific school.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.

How to apply

Please send your application by post to the Foundation at the Handelsfagskolen in Odder. Please enclose a financial plan, a letter of recommendation and proof of your planned activity. There are two application deadlines each year: 1 November and 1 March. Applications are assessed on the basis of their quality.
