Benefit

You will receive a scholarship for a trip abroad or to study abroad in the field of soil environmental chemistry or soil environmental microbiology. This covers the chemistry and microbial life in the soil. The amount of the scholarship is not specified. The scholarship is awarded by the Faculty of Science (SCIENCE) at the University of Copenhagen. It was established in memory of Sigurd Tovborg Jensen, a Danish professor of soil chemistry, to help you gain specialist knowledge through a period of study outside Denmark.

Eligibility

• University: You are currently a student or graduate of the Faculty of Science (SCIENCE) at the University of Copenhagen.
• Field of study: You are studying natural sciences or agricultural, food and veterinary sciences.
• Your plan: You want to go abroad to study or train in soil environmental chemistry or soil environmental microbiology.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via an online form on the University of Copenhagen’s intranet. The application period runs from 1 December to 1 February. The deadline for applications is 1 February.
