About this scholarship
Aase og Jørgen Münters Fond grant
You will receive a one-off grant of DKK 10,000 to DKK 25,000 (about 1,675 EUR) to cover your study costs. This grant is awarded by the ‘Aase og Jørgen Münters Fond’, a Danish foundation that supports young Greenlanders who are unable to finance their education through public funding alone.
Who can apply
- Who you are: You are a young Greenlander applying as a private individual. A family member may submit the application on your behalf. Organisations and associations may not submit an application.
- Where you study: You are studying in Denmark or elsewhere outside Greenland. The scholarship does not apply to Danish students undertaking a study visit to Greenland.
- Field of study: Any subject.
- Enrolment: You can provide evidence that you are enrolled on a course.
- Tax status: You pay tax in Denmark or Greenland and can provide your most recent tax assessment (årsopgørelse, the tax office’s annual statement).
How to apply
You apply via the Foundation’s online form on the ‘Grant Compass’ portal, where you must register in order to submit your application. There is one call for applications per year, with a deadline of 12 May (17:59). The board makes its decision at a meeting in May, and you will be notified in June whether your application has been approved.
