Karen & Knud Christensen's Scholarship

You get a one-off grant of 5,000 DKK (about 670 EUR) towards a commercial or business education. The money comes from a Danish fund (a "legat") that supports young people from Herning who want to go further in a trade or business career. Each year the fund hands out four to six grants.

Who can apply

• What you study: You are in a commercial or business education, for example economics, business, trade or law.
• Link to Herning: You learned or trained in Herning.
• Purpose: You want to continue your education further.
• Who applies: Women and men can both apply.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

Send your application to Herning Handelsstandsforening, the town's retail trade association. You do not need an application form. The deadline is 31 March, and the grants are handed out in April.
