Camilo José Cela University - Scholarship for SEK School Students

Benefit

If you are studying for a Bachelor’s degree at the Universidad Camilo José Cela (UCJC) in Madrid, you will receive a 25% discount on your tuition and course credits. It is renewed each year, provided you pass your exams and meet the university’s renewal conditions. You can combine it with another scholarship or grant, meaning you can receive up to two scholarships or grants per academic year. The UCJC offers this scholarship in partnership with the SEK Education Group for former pupils of SEK schools who are continuing their studies at the university.

Who can apply

• Your school: You have completed the 1 and 2 years of the Bachillerato (Spanish upper secondary education) at a school belonging to the SEK Education Group.
• Time at SEK: You have attended a SEK school for a total of at least 7 years.
• Where you study: You are enrolling on an official Bachelor’s degree programme at the UCJC in Madrid.
• Field of study: Open to all fields of study. For the disciplines of dentistry, medicine and nursing, the number of scholarships awarded may be limited in accordance with the relevant regulations.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.

How to apply

Apply via the UCJC online portal by 31 July of the year in which your degree programme begins. If you are admitted after this date, you will have 15 days from receipt of your confirmation of admission. There is no interview. The decision is based on your application documents, in particular your SEK grades or proof of your years of schooling.

How realistic are your chances?

This scholarship is subject to one condition: you must have completed the Bachillerato at an SEK school and studied there for at least seven years. This is not a competitive selection process with a limited number of places. If you meet these requirements and enrol at the UCJC, you can expect to receive the 25% discount. To be on the safe side, make sure you apply by the deadline in July.
