About this scholarship
General Description
The University of Plymouth is proud to offer the Care Leavers Bursary. It is for students who have been in local authority for a minimum of three months. The bursary is valued at £2,000 per year.
Requirements
Applicants must be new students at the University of Plymouth. They must also be from the UK. Applicants also have to show proof that they have spent at least three months in local authority care. Only undergraduate students qualify, and the applicant cannot already have a degree. The applicant must come from a low-income background where the household income is less than £40,000 a year.
