About this scholarship
Benefit
For the part-time MBA at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield, England, you will receive a 40% discount on your tuition fees. The discount applies to the standard tuition fees and covers the entire duration of the part-time MBA. Hertfordshire Business School awards it to high-achieving applicants who pay their own tuition fees.

- Course: You have been offered a conditional or unconditional place on the part-time MBA programme at the University of Hertfordshire.
- Where you study: You are studying at the main campus in Hatfield.
- Grades: You have an excellent degree: at least a British ‘First Class’ or a ‘High 2:1’, or a CGPA of 3.0/4.0 (or 4.0/5.0).
- Work record: Over the past three to five years, you have made an outstanding contribution to your employer. This may have been in the private, voluntary or public sector, or as an established entrepreneur.
- English: You must have an IELTS score of 6.5, a TOEFL score of 580 (paper-based) or 92 (online test), or a GCSE grade of B or above in English.

How to apply
You must submit the scholarship application form, proof of your admission, and a personal statement of 1,000 words. In this personal statement, describe your entrepreneurial or innovative contributions, your leadership qualities, your critical thinking skills and your career goals. The decision will be made by a selection committee, whose decision is final.
How realistic are your chances?
This award is highly selective. It is linked to a part-time MBA programme at a specific location, requires an outstanding degree and a proven professional track record, and excludes all applicants whose tuition fees are fully covered. This keeps the pool of eligible candidates small. If you meet these criteria and can underpin your application with genuine leadership qualities and a proven track record of success, your chances are good.
