About this scholarship
General Description
Dublin Institute of Technology funds an Athlete Support Programme to help student-athletes to develop both maximum sporting performance and excellent academic achievements. The award consists in a stipend that can reach up to €3,500 in addition athlete support services. These services include free membership to DIT Fit2Go which can be used to access on-campus fitness facilities, financial assistance to cover training and competition expenses, access to the Athlete Development Programme, and DIT sportswear.
Requirements
This programme is open for DIT students that compete in sports that are recognized by the Irish Sports Council. Applicants must compete and perform at International, National, Inter-Provincial, Inter County and/or Senior Club level.
