Jyväskylän Kauppalaisseuran Säätiö - Scholarship

Jyväskylä Business Society Foundation scholarship

You will receive a one-off grant intended to help you with your studies or a study trip. The amount of the grant is determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the amount you apply for and what you intend to use it for. The money is earmarked for a specific purpose, such as a study trip or a Master’s thesis. It does not cover rent or living costs. The grant is provided by the Jyväskylä Merchants’ Guild Foundation (Jyväskylän Kauppalaisseuran Säätiö sr.), which has been supporting business studies in Jyväskylä since 1952.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are enrolled as a student on the Economics degree programme at the University of Jyväskylä.
• Language of your programme: You can apply regardless of whether your degree programme is taught in Finnish or English.
• What the money is for: You have a specific plan, such as a study trip or a Master’s thesis, with a cost estimate. The grant does not cover living or accommodation costs.
• Grades: Your academic progress counts. The decision is based partly on your transcript.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
