About this scholarship

Suoma Loimaranta-Airila's Fund scholarship

You will receive a one-off grant of 3,000 EUR for your Master’s thesis or 1,000 EUR for a period of study abroad as part of an exchange programme. The exchange grant is valid for a period abroad commencing in the same year in which you receive the funds. The fund is one of over 350 funds managed by the University of Helsinki’s funds, which award grants to the university’s own students and researchers.

Who can apply

  • University: You are studying at the University of Helsinki.
  • Nation membership: You are a registered member of the Satakunta Nation (Satakuntalainen Osakunta), a regional students’ association. The Nation’s General Assembly must have approved your membership, and you must have paid this year’s membership fee.

  • Field of study: All subjects can apply.
  • Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
