Theology Fund grant at the University of Helsinki

You will receive a one-off grant of up to 12,000 EUR towards your theology studies at University of Helsinki in Finland. The grant comes from the Theology Fund, one of more than 350 funds managed by the University of Helsinki Funds, which together award around 400,000 euros annually to students and researchers.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are studying theology at the University of Helsinki.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Grades: The awards are based on academic achievement. This means the number of credit points you have earned and the marks you have achieved, relative to the duration of your degree programme.
• Not on staff: You are not eligible for the scholarship if you are employed by the university. The only exception is a period within the last three years during which you were not employed there.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted online via the University of Helsinki’s funding portal. Please register using your @helsinki.fi email address. The portal is available in Finnish, Swedish or English. Please attach a transcript of your academic record. The application deadline is 6 February at 23:59. All applicants will receive a personalised response by the end of April.
