About this scholarship

Dynastage grant

You will receive between 150 EUR and 2,280 EUR as a grant towards the costs of an internship abroad that forms part of your degree programme. The exact amount depends on the duration of the internship, your family’s income and the applicable rate. Students with a disability will receive an additional allowance of 150 EUR upon presentation of proof. The placement can last between 2 weeks and 6 months. It can be undertaken anywhere in the world, except on the French mainland and in the French overseas territories. The grant is awarded by the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Regional Council in France. You may combine it with an Erasmus+ grant, a university grant or a CROUS grant; however, the Dynastage amount will be reduced if you also receive Erasmus+.

Who can apply

  • Where you study: You are enrolled at a college or university in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region and are attending face-to-face classes at one of the campuses.
  • Study level: You are in your 1 to 5 year of your initial training. This also includes training undertaken after completing secondary education.
  • Compulsory placement: The overseas work placement is a compulsory part of your degree programme.
  • Where you go: The place of assignment is outside France and at least 150 km away from both your family home and your place of study in France. If you are from another country, you will not be able to return to your home country.
  • Field of study: All participants are eligible to take part.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
  • Financial need: Your family income measure (quotient familial, a French figure based on household income and household size) is less than 25,830 EUR, as shown in your tax assessment notice for last year.

How to apply

First, ask the international relations officer at your university (the person responsible for study or stays abroad) for an access code. Then submit your application online via the regional Envol platform. The application deadline is 15 October. Your university must confirm that the period abroad forms part of your degree programme.

How realistic are your chances?

This scholarship is aimed at a small group of students. You must be studying in a specific region of France, undertake a compulsory work placement abroad and not exceed the income threshold. If you meet these criteria and your university supports the work placement, your chances are good. Apply as soon as your work placement has been confirmed.
