Benefit

You get up to 5,000 EUR for a group project you start in your neighbourhood or elsewhere in Strasbourg. The city's youth team and local associations guide you personally at every step. You start an "atelier", an open project group that other young people aged 15 to 25 can join, and you lead it as its coordinator. If you have no idea of your own, you can simply join an existing group. The City of Strasbourg runs the programme together with the Eurométropole de Strasbourg (the wider Strasbourg metropolitan area). The money is a one-off project grant, not a monthly payment for your studies. It cannot cover the whole cost of the project, so you also need some other funding.

Eligibility

• Age: You are between 15 and 25 years old.
• Where you live: You live in Strasbourg.
• Studies: You can apply whether you are a school pupil, student, apprentice, worker or jobseeker.
• Your project: The idea is your own and benefits the local community, for example your neighbourhood or the city.
• What is not funded: Your studies or training, holidays, leisure spending and taking part in competitions.

How to apply

Submit your idea through the online form on the city's participation platform, participer.strasbourg.eu. There is no deadline, so you can apply at any time. The city first checks that your project is doable and serves the community. Then a jury of local politicians, experts, associations and young people decides how much money you get.
