ESSCA Excellence Scholarship

You will receive a partial scholarship of 15% to 30% of your first-year tuition at the ESSCA School of Management, a French business school in Angers. Specifically, this corresponds to approximately 2,295 EUR to 4,590 EUR for the Master’s programme in ‘Management’ (tuition fees of 15,300 EUR for 2026/27) or approximately 2,843 EUR to 5,685 EUR on an MSc programme such as ‘International Luxury Management’ (tuition fees of 18,950 EUR). The scholarship is valid only for your first year of study. You can combine it with the early bird discount: if you apply before 30 April 2026, you will receive a further discount of 15% on your tuition fees.

Who can apply

• Degree: You hold a bachelor’s degree comprising at least three years of study (180 ECTS credits) or are about to complete your degree.
• Programme: You have been admitted to a Master’s programme in Management or an MSc programme at ESSCA, or you are applying for one.
• Where you study: You are studying at ESSCA in France. This award is aimed at international students from abroad.
• Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
• Field of study: Management, Finance, Business Administration or a related subject area that is relevant to the degree programme you are applying for.
• Performance: You have good grades and have also achieved success outside the classroom. Your financial or social background is irrelevant.

How to apply

You do not need to submit a separate scholarship application. When you apply for a place via the ESSCA online portal, the committee will automatically assess whether you are eligible for the scholarship. You can apply for 2025/26 from 3 November 2025. The application deadline is 30 June for non-EU students and 10 July for EU students. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an online interview in English before an offer of admission is made.

How realistic are your chances?

Every eligible Master’s applicant is automatically assessed; as a result, there is a large pool of applicants and scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. Furthermore, the scholarship only covers part of your tuition fees, not the full cost. If your grades and other achievements are particularly outstanding and you apply early to secure the early-bird discount, your chances are good.
