What you get

These are two separate scholarships. Both helped students cover the costs of the ESSEC Global MBA when they took the ‘Luxury Brand Management’ specialism, a course focusing on the management of high-end brands. L’Oréal Luxe funded one of the scholarships. The fragrance and flavour company Firmenich funded the other. The exact amount was never disclosed. ESSEC is a business school near Paris, and its Global MBA is a one-year full-time programme.

Eligibility

• Programme: You have been accepted onto the ESSEC Global MBA programme near Paris.
• Specialisation: You have chosen the ‘Luxury Brand Management’ specialisation. Both scholarships were intended exclusively for students on this degree programme.
• Nationality: Any nationality could apply.
• L'Oréal Luxe award: You need strong results and an outstanding profile.
• Firmenich award: You had to prove financial need; in other words, you were unable to cover the full cost of the MBA yourself.
