Studentenwerk Darmstadt - End of Degree Student Loans

General Description

The Studentenwerk Darmstadt offers loans to university students approaching the completion of their degree courses. Funding will be provided for a maximum of 12 months; the total sum awarded must not exceed 5000 euro.

Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled in the final year of a degree course taught at a state-funded higher education institution headquartered in Darmstadt; they must not be eligible to receive BAföG financial assistance. It is required that applicants are backed by a guarantor, who has to be a person carrying out her/his professional activity in Germany; the guarantor should earn a regular income high enough to ensure that the loan will be duly repaid.
