What the Weston Scholarship offered

This scholarship covered the full tuition fees for a full-time postgraduate programme (a one-year Master’s degree) at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. It corresponded to the standard tuition fee rate for students from the UK or the EU, meaning you did not have to pay any tuition fees. Each participating faculty or department awarded a Weston Scholarship. The University of Nottingham’s Graduate School was responsible for running the programme. The funding was intended solely for tuition fees and did not include any contribution towards living costs.

• Where you study: On the University of Nottingham’s UK campus.
• Fee status: For the purposes of tuition fees, you are regarded as a student from the United Kingdom or the EU (fee status ‘Home/EU’).
• Field of study: Any degree programme offered by a participating university, such as cultural studies, economics, mathematics or veterinary medicine.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities were eligible to apply, provided they met the criteria for the domestic/EU tuition fee rate.
