General Description
The First-year National Scholarship Programme award is available for students who are pursuing a degree for the first time at the University of Sheffield. The award is worth £6,000. The student can decide to use the award in different ways. This includes as a first year fee waiver, so that they only have to pay tuition fees of £3,000. They can also decide to take a first year university accommodation waiver and a payment to themselves, although payment varies depending on the cost of the accommodation. Finally they can take the full amount of the award as a payment to themselves. The scholarship does not have any strings attached and does not need repaid.
