About this scholarship
General Description
The purpose of the Realising Opportunities Scholarships is to promote fair access and social mobility to assist young people from underrepresented groups to gain access to some of the country’s leading research intensive universities.
Requirements
The Realising Opportunities Scholarships are open to students enrolled in a school or college involved in the programme. Applicants must be Home/EU registered students who have achieved at least 8 A* to C grades at GCSE (or equivalent, eg GNVQ, BTEC Certificate) including English Language and Mathematics with a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grades A*/A or B; they will be also required to meet at least two of the qualifying criteria related to underrepresented groups.
