About this scholarship
General Description
The SOAS Alumni & Friends Fund Award is intended to help UK students who have financial need, have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and have performed work of personal merit in their community. The amount of funding provided per student will be up to £2000 (currently about 2410 euro) per academic year.Requirements
These bursaries are open to first year students of undergraduate degrees taught at the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London. Applicants must provide evidence of outstanding academic merit and outstanding personal merit, including work in the community or voluntary work; their household income must be less than £25,000 as assessed by the Student Finance England (SFE). Candidates must be permanent residents of England; they must also be the first ones in their families to undertake a higher education degree.Similar scholarships
