San Pablo CEU Foundation Study Support Grant

You will receive an annual grant to help fund your studies at Cardenal Herrera University (UCH-CEU) in Valencia, Spain. The amount of the grant is not fixed. It is calculated individually for each student and varies each year, depending on the number of applicants and their personal circumstances. In recent years, the average amount has been around 1,500 EUR per student. The funding comes from the Fundación Universitaria San Pablo CEU, the charitable foundation that runs the university. You must reapply for the grant each academic year.

Who can apply

• University: You are studying at Cardenal Herrera University (UCH-CEU) in Valencia.
• Study phase: You can apply, whether you’re just starting out or are already enrolled.
• Field of study: Any subject other than the catering degree programme.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Financial need: The amount of the benefit depends on your family’s income, which is verified on the basis of the previous year’s tax return.
• Grades: Your academic performance also plays a part.
• Ministry scholarship: You must also have applied for the official grant from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional) for the same academic year.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via the University’s Grants and Scholarships Office. For the academic year 2026–27, the application period begins in mid-September.

How realistic are your chances?

This scholarship is tied to a specific university and is awarded on the basis of family income and academic results. If you meet the eligibility criteria and genuinely need the support, your chances are good. The amount of the scholarship depends on how many applicants there are each year; if there are a large number of applicants, the individual amount may therefore be reduced. Make sure you also submit the application to the Department for Education, as you will be excluded without it.
